Announcing our 2014 Senior Models

Inspired Canvas Photography is proud to announce our 2014 Senior Models.  Congratulations to Ms. Kiara Foreman, Ms. Tyla Holloway and Ms. Mikayla McGhee.  We received a number of applications from junior and seniors from across Hampton Roads.  The decision to select two was so difficult for the judges that it was decided to choose three.  These three young ladies were clear standouts during their interview.

Ms. Kiara Foreman is a senior at a local Chesapeake Public High School. She shares her love for dance by participating in her school’s dance team as well as the praise dance team at her church.  Kiara’s role model is her mother whom she says “has always been there for her”.

Kiara plans to attend the Art Institute where she will major in Wardrobe design. She describes herself as goofy, bubbly and humble.

Ms. Tyla Holloway is a junior in the Suffolk Public Schools system.  Tyla, crowned Ms. Teen Norfolk 2013 in September of this year, is a tenacious young lady whose activities include marching band, concert band, the Girl Scout all while participating in pageants.  Her love is music, drawing and playing the alto sax, tuba and ukulele.  When asked about her role model, she replied “Machine Gun Kelly because of his attitude and how he carries himself.  He is always there for his fans”.

Tyla plans to attend Virginia State University.  Her dream is to become a graphic designer with a focus in character animation.  She describes herself as having an electric personality and loves public speaking.

Ms. Mikayla McGhee is a senior at a local Chesapeake Public High School.   Mikayla is a member of the National Honor Society, secretary of the Student Council Association and the captain of the varsity cheerleader squad.  Clearly a leader and an extrovert, she is known to rally and encourage a crowd inside as well as outside of sports.  On top of her extra-curricular activities, Mikayla works part-time. She is also a very active member of Mount Gilead missionary Baptist church. Her role model is her mother, whom she says has always taken care of business while being a good steward of what God has blessed them with.

Mikayla plans to attend Florida State University where she will major in pre-medicine.  Her long-term goal is to become a pediatric oncologist.

My continued prayer is that God will wrap His loving arms of protection around these young ladies and bless them with the desires of their hearts.  These are exemplary young ladies and it is my pleasure to have them represent Inspired Canvas Photography as 2014 Senior Models.
